In Clare, like everywhere, it all starts with kids. Clare Public Schools, accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, is known throughout the State as a school of high caliber. With award winning programs such as Business Professionals of America, the CHS Winner's Circle, the Clare High School Symphonic Band, Reading Recovery, Help One Student to Succeed (HOSTS), and a curriculum to match, you can be assured your child will receive a great education.

But it doesn't stop there! Did we mention fun? Currently, the City of Clare boasts seven parks, including a campground, nature trail, island, skate park, playgrounds and more. Plus, the City is aggressively pursuing new parks and recreation opportunities. Recently, the City established the Clare Trailhead for the Michigan Rails to Trails, a paved rural path from Clare to Midland. In the recent past, we've also purchased and erected a new Playscape at Shamrock Park, built a new fishing pier at Pettit Park, purchased and

installed a new, state-of-the-art mobile skateboard facility, and are looking into opportunities for other park facilities throughout the City, including a possible new playground near First Street.
